HART IS A PROUD SUPPORTER OF THE ASTER PROGRESS REPORT
This report and the research was made possible with funding from the Human Anti-Trafficking
Response Team (HART).
Sex trafficking, which predominantly impacts women and girls, is a critical human rights violation that demands urgent attention. By focusing on systemic change, better support for sex trafficked persons, and comprehensive training efforts, ASTER strives to make a tangible impact in the global fight against sex trafficking.
Specifically, ASTER has strived to address sex trafficking by focusing on understanding the training needs of providers, developing and evaluating learning tools to increase providers’ self efficacy and capacity to respond, and the experiences of women and their interactions with those who provide care.
